About Me

Hey there! I'm a dedicated counsellor with a passion for supporting young adults and teens through life's challenges. With almost four years of experience working in secondary schools, I've developed a deep understanding of the unique emotional landscapes that young people navigate.

My approach to counselling is all about flexibility and personalization. I believe that every individual is unique, which means there's no such thing as a one-size-fits-all solution to mental health and well-being. As an eclectic and integrative counsellor, I draw from various therapeutic modalities – including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and person-centered approaches – to create a supportive and tailored experience that meets your specific needs.

I also am interested in the fascinating connection between gut health and brain function, taking a holistic approach to mental wellbeing by considering how physical health and lifestyle factors influence our emotional and psychological state.

When I'm not supporting clients, you'll find me living an active lifestyle. I'm passionate about staying healthy and balanced – whether that's hitting the gym, playing netball, walking my dog, or enjoying quality time with friends and family. I’m a huge animal lover and I truly believe in the healing power of pets - especially dogs! I'm a firm believer that personal well-being extends beyond our professional lives, and I practice what I preach!

I love creating a warm, supportive environment where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate your personal journey. Let's work together to find the strategies and support that will help you thrive.
